<br/>Uttar Pradesh government has decided to give revised pay scale to the employees of seven state owned corporations, including UP Project Corporation and Samaj Kalyan Nirman Nigam from January this year. A decision to this effect was taken by the state cabinet. As per the decision, the financial burden would be borne by the respective corporations themselves and no financial assistance will be given to the corporations in this regard.<br/><br/>Employees of other corporations that would benefit from this decision are UP Seed Development Corporation, UP State Bridge Corporation, UP Development System Corporation, UP State Industrial Development Corporation and UP Jal Nigam.<br/><br/>The cabinet has also decided to give revised pay scale as per the 5th pay commission recommendations to PICUP and Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority, GIDA with the same condition that they would bear the financial burden. It has been also clarified that no arrears will be admissible to the GIDA employees.
