Senior Retired IAS Officer, PVRK Prasad has passed away in Hyderabad during wee hours today. He was 77. He breathed his last at around 2 am following a cardiac arrest.<br/><br/>He served as information advisor to former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao. As an IAS Officer of Andhra Pradesh Cadre, he served in various capacities in both Central and state governments. Telangana Chief Minister M Chandrasekhara Rao, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Nayudu and several others condoled his Death.<br/><br/>He is survived by wife, a daughter and a son. Prasad also authored several popular books in Telugu. His family members informed that his funeral will take place this morning in Hyderabad.
