In Tamil Nadu, police have taken into custody a recently-retired army officer for questioning in connection with the killing of a 13-year-old boy Dilshan inside an Army camp in Chennai last week. Senior army sources said in Delhi that the officer, who retired three months ago and had been staying in the officers' block opposite the place of the incident, was handed over to the Chennai police for questioning. Dilshan, a resident of Indira Gandhi Nagar in Chennai, was shot at when he had strayed into the Army residential premises in Island Grounds locality on Sunday.
