Former Judge of Delhi High Court Justice M L Mehta was today appointed as chairman of a three-member government panel on revision of Delhi Metro rail fares. <br/><br/>The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for appointment of Justice Mehta, as chairman of the 4th Fare Fixation Committee in the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC).<br/><br/>The panel will submit its report within three months time.The DMRC had requested the Centre to constitute the Fare Fixation Committee for recommending fares to its Metro network.The metro fares were last revised in 2009.
