Resumption of talks between Tehran, 6 major powers depends on other side: Iran

Iran says, resumption of talks between Tehran and the six major powers depends on the other side as Iran has already announced its readiness. According to Iranian Press TV, Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters today that six major powers should demonstrate their willingness as well. He said that the two sides can discuss the details of negotiations as soon as the six major powers-Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States plus Germany-announce their readiness.Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that Iran is ready for a dialogue with the powers on the nuclear issue and hoped that future meetings would yield results.In Nepal, the 2555 Buddha Jayanti ,to commemorate the birth, englightment and is being observed throughout the nation. Devotees have been thronging Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha in southern Nepal and other monasteries to offer special prayers and pujas. In Kathmandu, Buddhists have been visiting the Swoyambhu monastery and other monasteries . A peace rally ,and blood donation camp was also held in the capital. Nepal government also conferred the first Gautam Buddha International Peace award at a function in Lumbini today.
