The results of different competitive presentations in the Republic Day Parade – 2017 were announced today. In Services category, Madras Engineer Group and in Para-Military Forces category, CISF contingent were adjudged the best marching contingents. The Arunachal Pradesh tableau, depicting Yak dance, got the first position, Tripura's tableau depicting Hojagiri dance was adjudged second and the third position was shared by Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu tableaux. <br/><br/>Among the Central Ministries and Departments, the first prize has been awarded to the tableau of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship which depicted the theme Transforming India through Skill Development. The tableau presented by the Central Public Works Department depicting the concept of Green India – Clean India was selected for a special prize. The dance presented by students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pitampura, Delhi was adjudged the best in the competitive category of school children items.
