World Health Organization, Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that results from&nbsp;clinical trials of drugs that might be effective in treating COVID-19 patients can be expected soon.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He said, nearly five thousand 500 patients in 39 countries have&nbsp; been recruited into the solidarity trial so far. Mr. Ghebreyesus said that&nbsp; the interim results are&nbsp; expected within the next two weeks.<br />''&nbsp;<b>&nbsp;</b><br />''Meanwhile, Dr. Mike Ryan, Head of the WHO's emergency program said that we need to put up a fight now during a peak in the current wave of the coronavirus pandemic rather than focuing on when a second wave might come.
