In Kashmir valley, authorities have on Monday again imposed restrictions on people's movement with huge deployment of security forces in interior parts of Srinagar city and also Batmalu and Maisuma areas. The restrictions have also been imposed in the towns of Baramullah, Sopore, Anantnag and Pulwama as there were incidents of fresh protests and stone-pelting in these areas last evening. On Sunday, authorities lifted curfew from entire valley after eight days and some semblance of normalcy was seen in Srinagar and other towns.
