In Jammu and Kashmir, police imposed restrictions today in parts of the city ahead of the proposed protest march by separatist groups to Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.<br/><br/> Officials said restrictions have been imposed in six police station areas of Rainawari, Nowhatta, Khanyar, M R Gunj and Safakadal in downtown locality of the city and in Maisuma near Lal Chowk.<br/><br/> Police said the decision to impose restrictions was taken in view of the apprehensions of law and order problems.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, all trains in the Kashmir valley have also been suspended for security reasons following protest march called by separatists, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a rally in the summer capital tomorrow.<br/><br/>Many separatist leaders have either been detained or placed under house arrest. Kashmir University and Board of School Education has postponed all examinations scheduled to be held today. However, Class VIII exams would be held as per schedule.
