Restoring investor confidence, improving quality of services and establishing broadband highways will be the top priorities for newly appointed Minister for Communications and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad. After assuming charge yesterday, Mr. Prasad told reporters in New Delhi that the government needs to restore investor confidence. He assured all investors that the new government would act in a transparent manner. He also said improving mobile access in areas like North East, extremism-infested areas, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar and other rural areas are high on the agenda.
