Till today Out of 2364 affected rural pipe water schemes, 1784 have been repaired and restored. 3 Mobile Water treatment plants have been sent to Mahakalapada, Astaranga and Kakatapur to provide safe drinking water to people.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Another 8 plants are to be sent to Puri very soon. Water and power supply in all the hospitals in cyclone-affected areas have been restored. The National Rice Research Institute in Cuttack faced heavy loss. About 70 thousand varieties of rare paddy seed preserved in cold chamber is in danger. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Gene bank is also in threat due to interruption in power supply where thousands of paddy seeds are under research.
