Rajyasabha MP and former Finance Minister of Haryana Ch. Birender Singh said that the interstate issues pending since 40 years between Haryana and Punjab as well as between Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand should be sorted out soon. He was interacting with media at Chandigarh today during a Meet the Press programme. Favouring construction of Hansi- Butana canal, he said this canal is a lifeline for people of Rewari, Mahendergarh, Narnaul and Jhajjar.
