<span style="color: #222222;">A resolution urging Pakistan to uphold democratic institutions, human rights and the rule of law has been introduced in the US House of Representatives.<br />''<br />'' Congressmen Mitch McCormick and Dan Kildee brought the draft to House, ahead of the General Elections to be held in Pakistan in February next year. The resolution affirms US support for democracy in Pakistan including free and fair elections reflecting the will of the people of Pakistan. Moreover, it called on the US President and the Secretary of State to work with the Government of Pakistan to ensure democracy, human rights, and the rule of law are upheld.</span><br />
