<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">A resolution to include the values of Bhagwat Gita in the curriculum of classes 6 to 12 was passed in the Gujarat state assembly on Wednesday. Presenting the resolution, State Minister for Education, Praful Pansheriya said the government is committed to develop the qualities of truth, harmony, and tolerance among children from an early age.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Minister said, the Gita is not limited to Hindus but is considered to be a scripture for the entire human society. He said, through the philosophy of Gita, the students of Gujarat will be more enlightened which will help them to make important contribution towards achieving the vision of 'Viksit Bharat @2047'. Opposition Congress also supported the resolution which was passed unanimously in the assembly.</p>
