Pakistan Parliament has adopted a resolution condemning the US raid that killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and called for a review of ties with Washington. Pakistan's Senate and National Assembly held a joint session where lawmakers questioned the head of the nation's intelligence agency and senior military leaders. After the closed-door session, the two chambers on Friday also called for an independent commission to investigate the whole incident. The members said unilateral actions such as the US raid in Abbottabad and the continued U.S. drone strikes are an unacceptable breach of Pakistan's sovereignty and must stop immediately. Pakistan's military and the intelligence agency have come under criticism for not knowing about the presence of the world's most wanted terrorist on Pakistani soil and for failing to detect the US raid.
