Residents flee Libya’s Bani Walid

Residents of one of former Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi's remaining stronghold fled on Tuesday as Nato and fighters from Libya's provisional authority continued to attack pro-Gaddafi forces. Witnesses said, dozens of cards left the town of Bani Walid while Nato planes flew overhead. Reuters news agency reported the civilians were able to flee after some pro-Gaddafi fighters in the town abandoned their posts.Nato said, an air strike a day earlier near Sirte, another Gaddafi stronghold, struck one radar system, and eight surface-to-air missile systems.
