Rescue and relief operation has been intensified in flood affected areas of Nepal. The army has rescued 365 school children from Bharatpur Jagatpur municipality and 400 peoples form other parts of affected areas by helicopters. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today visited flood affected areas to take stock of the situation. He was accompanied by Home Minister Janardan Sharma, Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan and senior officials. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Deuba directed officials not to spare anything while carrying out rescue and relief operations. <br/><br/>The government has also decided to provide 2 lakh rupees compensation to the families of those killed in the recent floods and landslides. 66 persons have lost their lives since Friday and 53 are missing in flood and landslide triggered by incessant rain. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Health experts have expressed fear of spreading water borne diseases in flood affected areas. According to Met department, weather conditions are likely to improve from today.
