Republic Day: Tripura Governor appeals people to come out and contribute in strengthening Nation

<span style="color: #222222;">Along with the whole nation, Tripura is celebrating India's 73rd Republic Day with patriotic zeal and fervor.<br />'' <br />'' The Republic Day celebration began in the early morning with the unfurling of the National Flag at residential houses, government, and semi-government offices, business centers,  cultural organizations, etc.<br />'' <br />'' The main celebration was held at the Assam Rifles Ground in Agartala with due maintaining of covid protocols and curtailed the event with the minimum program because of the pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' Tripura Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya unfurled the national tricolor and took Rashtriya Salute from the contingents of Assam Rifles, B.S.F, C.R.P.F, Tripura State Rifles, women police, home guards, Traffic police, Forest guards, and others.<br />'' <br />'' Addressing the occasion Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya paid tribute to the millions of the heroes who sacrificed their lives for today's Independent India. The Governor greeted the people of Tripura and said it was on this day in the year 1950 that the Constitution of India came into effect and India became a Sovereign nation free from British Rule.<br />'' <br />'' He further called upon the people of the state to come out and contribute in whatever ways and capacity in strengthening the Nation more.  <br />''<br />''Mr. Satyadeo also lauded the state government for the achievements being made in various sectors of development in the state.</span>
