Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan unfurled the national flag at the ceremonial event held at the lawns of the Public Gardens in Hyderabad. Addressing the people on the occasion, the governor paid the significance of the Indian Constitution in uniting the nation and paid tributes to the architects of the Constitution. Highlighting the importance of the Constitution in empowering the people to remove rulers who went against its spirit through struggles and elections, the governor said, the people of Telangana ended the dictatorship and brought a people's government in the recent elections.<br />''<br />''The Governor emphasised that democracy, welfare, and development can only be achieved when the government follows the spirit of the Constitution.
