Ministry of Women and Child Development today clarified that a report published by an NGO on Gender Vulnerability Index is not the government's report. <br/><br/>In a statement, the Ministry said that the report released by the NGO Plan India is not the report of the Ministry and it was in no way associated in the drafting or compilation of the report. The clarification came after some news reports quoting the NGO's report as Ministry's report. <br/><br/>The Ministry said that it had only conveyed its approval for use of its logo for the event when the NGO had approached it for supporting their event on 1st of this month in New Delhi. <br/><br/>The report indicates that Goa is the safest for women and girls while Bihar ranked the lowest for their safety and security.<br/>
