Repolling passes off peacefully in Bihar

In Bihar, re-polling passed off peacefully at two booths one each in Dinara and Sonepur assembly constituencies of the state. Over 57 percent voter turnout was recorded at polling station number 179 of Dinara constituency in Rohtash district.Over 37 percent electorates exercised their right of franchise at polling station number 24 of Sonepur assembly constituency in Saran district. Delhi govt. assures additional fund of Rs 25 cr to IIT-D Delhi government has assured an additional fund of 25 crore rupees to the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIIT-D) for making its campus clean and green. Delhi Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dikshit was apprised at a meeting about the efforts to make it a world- class institute today. It is expected that intake will go up from 255 to 700 in next 2 to3 years in the institute.
