Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope assured that free medicine Remedesivir will be provided to every district in the state for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. While addressing a meeting in Osmanabad to take stock of the COVID-19 situation, he said that the Coronavirus infection testing laboratory would also be started in the district within next two days.<br />'' <br />'' Although the State Government is making every effort to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, the number of patients in many places in the state are increasing.<br />''                              <br />'' Maharashtra Textile Minister Aslam Shaikh has tested positive for Coronavirus infection and is isolating himself. He is currently asymptomatic and urged those who came in close contact with him to get themselves tested. He is the fourth Minister in Maharashtra to have been infected by the Novel Coronavirus.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, State Ministers Jitendra Awhad, Ashok Chavan and Dhananjay Munde had tested positive for the disease and later recovered.<br />'' <br />'' On the other hand, all professionals in Aurangabad district, are now required to undergo Corona test. Municipal Commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey has issued this order in the wake of increasing number of COVID-19 patients in the district. Following the order, many traders and shopkeepers have started getting themselves checked since yesterday.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Women and Child Development Minister Yashomati Thakur has agreed to exclude Anganwadi workers from COVID-19 survey.<br />'' <br />'' Accordingly, instructions have been given to all the Collectors and Municipal Corporations. This decision will enable Anganwadi workers to focus on malnutrition eradication work.  <br />
