The government has rejected a proposal for Censure Motion made by nine opposition parties against Union Minister Nirjan Jyoti. The parties include the Congress, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, JD(U), BSP, CPI(M), DMK and NCP. They had called upon the government to accept their resolution to censure the Union Minister for her derogatory remarks.
