Relief works are being carried out in rain-affected areas of Rajasthan. The State Government has approved Rs 2.64 crore for relief work in Jaipur, Ajmer, Dausa, Sikar and Jhunjhnu districts.Around 33 people were killed in 12 districts during the last three days in rain related incidents in the state. In Sikar and Jaipur districts, the Army is helping local authorities in draining out water from affected areas.Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reviewed the situation at a high-level meeting on Friday and instructed officials to provide all possible help to the affected people. Gehlot directed to send Emergency Response Teams to Jhunjhnu and Sikar to help the local administration. The State Government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the next kin of those killed in rain related incidents.In Jaipur, 2000 people have been shifted to five relief camps and they are being provided necessary help.Meanwhile, there is no report of heavy rain in any part of the state during the past 24 hours.
