The relief material for the flood victims in Sri Lanka has arrived in Colombo today. The Indian Airforce plane IL 76 carrying the relief, landed in Colombo a short while ago. India is the first country to respond to Sri Lankan government's appeal for assistance. More than a million people have been affected by flooding in Sri Lanka and at least 23 have died over a week of devastation that has severely hit the centre and east of the country.
