Relief from sweltering heat for Delhiities

Delhiities got some relief from the sweltering heat as temperatures dropped following thundershowers in parts of the city. A day after the minimum temperature rose significantly in the national capital which was also the highest recorded minimum temperature for June in 40 years,the minimum temperaure recorded today was 29.4 degrees celsius.The maximum touched 39 degrees celsius. The met departments estimates for today are cloudy skies with likelihood of squalls in some areas.For the next 24 hours the weatherman forecasts the temperature to remain the same.However there is a likelihood of partly overcast skies with possibilty of rain and thunderstorms in the national capital with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 39 degrees celsius.<br/>
