Information and Broadcasting Ministry has withheld the release of Punjabi film 'Kaum de Heere' following a controversy.The film is based on the lives of assassins of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and was scheduled to release today. Earlier, the Home Ministry had expressed reservations on the contents of the film and asked the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to take a re-look at the clearance. Congress, BJP and other quarters have also raised objection to the film and demanded a ban on its release.
