Talks between Odisha Government and mediators are still going on at Bhubaneshwar for release of Malkangiri district collector R. Vineel Krishna and Junior Engineer Majhi abducted by the maoists. The mediators, Prof. R. Sameswer Rao, Prof G. Hargopal and Dandapani Mohanti met top maoists leader Ghanti Prasadam twice on Tuesday at Jharpada jail in Bhubaneshwar and apprised him about the progress made so far. The mediators are talking to Odisha Home Secretary U.N Behera and Information and Public relation Secretary S.N Tripathi over rest of the six crucial demands put forward by the Maoist for release of Krishna and Majhi. A joint statement is expected later this evening on the issue by the Odisha government and the mediators.
