<span style="color: #222222;">In Tamilnadu, the  Regional Weather Department has warned of heavy rains today and tomorrow in the delta districts of the state. Speaking to the media in Chennai today, Balachandran, the Deputy Director General of the Department, said that Cyclone Migjam is likely to bring heavy to very heavy rains in parts of Northern districts from Chennai to Cuddalore. He said that the depression prevailing in South East Bay of Bengal lay centered at 800 kms near Chennai. He said that the system is likely to gain strength and move north westwards and form a cyclonic circulation. He said that the cyclonic storm Migjam will move closer to the coast on 3rd and 4th of this month and make a landfall between Chennai and Machilipatinam.<br />''<br />''Owing to the depression and the expected outcome in the next few days, Tamilnadu Chief Minister MK Stalin took stock of the situation with Ministers, senior officials and Collectors of twelve districts.
