Red carpet welcome awaits PM Modi in Silicon Valley

A red carpet welcome is awaiting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Silicon Valley to which he will be heading from New York in a few hours after attending the G-4 Summit.<br/><br/>Prime Ministers main agenda in the worlds IT hub would be to give a push to his Digital India programme.<br/> <br/>Mr Modi will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit California in past 33 years. This is Mr Modis second visit to the US after assuming Prime Minister's Office in 2014.<br/> <br/>Elaborate arrangements have been made to welcome him at the Silicon Valley which known as the tech hub of the world.<br/> <br/>The top figures in the Valley whom Mr Modi would be meeting include Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Google co-founders Sergey Brin Larry Page besides Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.<br/><br/>Prime Minister will also interact with the Indian community today in San Hose, an event for which there was tremendous excitement among the Indian Americans living there.<br/><br/>Mr Modi will tomorrow attend the first India-US Startup Konnect in the Silicon Valley which is being organised by NASSCOM, TiE, and IIM Ahmedabads CIIE in pursuance to his call of "Start up India, Stand up India" given on the Independence day.
