In Gujarat, a red alert has been sounded through out the state in view of intelligence inputs on possible terror attacks on coming Wednesday. The intelligence bureau has tipped off the state police to be more vigil as, some terror groups linked with the AL- Quaeda have plans to attack important installations in Gujarat. AIR correspondent reports, that security forces have been told to stand by for combing operations and to maintain extra vigil and preparedness to face any terror attack. Search operations have been carried out in the border areas of the state including Kutch and Bansakantha. The coast guard, navy and state marine police have also been alerted for any infiltration from the sea coast.
