Expressing concern over ground water pollution in the country, Minister for Water Resources Nitin Gadkari today said that recycling of water can minimize the water woes. Addressing 7th International Conference on Ground Water in New Delhi, Mr Gadkari said, micro water management like drip irrigation is the need of the hour. He said, the Centre is committed to provide clean drinking water to the people.<br/> <br/>Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Uma Bharti in her address said, people have to understand their responsibility towards water. She also stressed for bold steps to manage water imbalances. Ms Bharti said, Israel can be role model of India in water conservation and recycling. <br/><br/>The three day international conference is being organized on the Ground water issues with the theme "Ground water Vision 2030- Water Security, Challenges and Climate Change Adaptation".<br/>Delegates from 15 countries are participating in the conference. 250 research papers will be presented during the conference which includes 32 Keynote papers.
