The recovery rate improved further and reached up to 77.72 per cent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, 'more than 12,11,000 tests have been carried out in the State till date.  Record 51225 tests were carried out yesterday, which are double from the tests done last week. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Out of 1,087 new cases recorded yesterday, the maximum 168 new cases reported from Surat. Ahmedabad city recorded 149 new cases during the last 24 hours. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Total cases of COVID-19 in the State have gone up to 76,569. Out of 14,299 active cases in the State, the conditions of 71 patients are serious. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">At the other end, 1,071 patients have been discharged from various hospitals after recovery. With this, the total patients recovered from COVID-19 have gone up to 59,522. 15 patients have lost their lives yesterday, taking the total death due to COVID-19 in the State up to 2,748. </span><br />
