Spanish giants Real Madrid have lifted the UEFA Football Super Cup, the first European silverware of the season, defeating Sevilla, 2-0. Cristiano Ronaldo scored both the goals. First he tapped in a cross from Gareth Bale to give Real the lead, which was followed by a drilled shot from the left to make it 2-nil.
