The United States has said, it is ready to work with Pakistan in combating terrorism. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters during an off-camera news conference in Washington, Pentagon Press Secretary Colonel Robert Manning said, US has conveyed specific and concrete steps to Islamabad that it could take to eliminate terror groups, including the Taliban and the Haqqani network, operating from its soil. <br/><br/>He said, US expectations are straight forward that the terror groups do not find safe havens or conduct operations from Pakistani soil.<br/><br/>The Press Secretary reiterated that the 900 million US Dollars in coalition support fund to Pakistan has been suspended, not cancelled or reprogrammed. <br/><br/>The amount was part of the approximately 2 billion dollar in security assistance to Pakistan that has been suspended by the Trump administration.
