Congress today said they are not against Goods and Services Tax Bill but want inclusion of a few provisions in it. Briefing media in New Delhi, party spokesperson R P N Singh said they want a GST Bill which will not burden the middle class. <br/><br/>The Bill has been passed in the Lok Sabha and is awaiting clearance from the Rajya Sabha where the ruling NDA lacks majority.<br/><br/>The party spokesperson said it is strange that a meeting of the Land Acquisition Committee was called today. He said the meeting does not hold any relevance when Prime Minister has already made a promise to the nation on Mann Ki Baat programme that the Land Acquisition Bill brought by UPA government will stand.
