Ready to contest against Modi, says Arvind Kejriwal

Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has said he is ready to contest against BJP Prime Minister candidate Narendra Modi in Varanasi if voters so desire. Addressing a public rally in Bangalore today, he said a final decision on this will be taken after AAP rally in Varanasi on 23rd of this month.

Listing out leaders from BJP and Congress who are allegedly facing corruption charges, he said AAP will contest against all of them to free the country of corrupt politicians. He claimed that 49 days of AAP Government in Delhi had reduced corruption in public offices and said their party’s drive against corrupt will continue by winning the elections in Delhi. Earlier in the day, Kejriwal had campaigned in Chickballapur, where Union Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily is contesting for the second time.
