In West Bengal, re-polling has begun in two polling booths in North Dinajpur and Coochbihar Districts. The Election Commission ordered re-polling in two booths in Karan Dighi Assembly seat in north Dinajpur and Natabari seats of Coochbihar district following technical snag in EVMs. The voting took place in these polling booths on 1st phase of Assembly elections in the state on last Monday. Meanwhile, campaigning for the 2nd phase has intensified in 50 seats of Murshidabad, Nadia and Birbhoom districts where the polling will take place on Saturday.
