Re-polling being held today in 1 booth in Rajasthan, 6 booths in UP & 1 booth in MP

In Rajasthan, 77.25 percent polling was recorded till 11.30 a.m. at Niwai polling booth in Tonk-Sawai Madhopur constituency where Election Commission ordered re-polling after complaints of irregularities during the polling on 24th April. Polling began at 7 am and is continuing peacefully.

In Uttar Pradesh, repolling is taking place at six polling booths in Agra, Etawah and Firozabad constituencies where polling was held on April 24. Repolling is being held at one each polling booth in Jalesar, Auraiya , Sirsaganj, Dibiyapur assembly segments and two polling booths in Jasrana assembly segment of the three Lok Sabha seats.

In Madhya Pradesh, re-polling is being held at Varoli polling booth of Khandwa parliamentary constituency today. The Election Commission had ordered repolling at this booth following reports of problems in Electronic Voting Machines.
