Re-poll ends peacefully in Manipur

<span style="color: #222222;">Re-poll at 12 polling stations of the Inner-Manipur Parliamentary Constituency ended peacefully at four this afternoon. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">State Joint Chief Electoral Officer Ramananda Nongmeikappam said, 87.12 per cent of the total eligible voters of the 12 polling stations have exercised their franchise in today's repoll. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Polling for the parliamentary constituency was held on Thursday last in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, 2019. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The re-poll has been necessitated following complaints of electoral malpractices at the said polling stations. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The polling stations where re-poll is held today are five in Heingang Assembly Constituency, one in Thongju, four in Keirao and two in Andro Assembly Constituency, all in Imphal East District.</span><br />''  <br />
