The re-examination of the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) was conducted successfully throughout the country yesterday without any untoward incident, the CBSE said. The Supreme Court had directed the CBSE to re-conduct the AIPMT Examination because of the report of use of unfair means. The CBSE in compliance of Court's order conducted the AIPMT Examination successfully without any untoward incident. The examination was conducted at 1065 centres in 50 cities throughout the country and abroad. Over six lakh candidates were registered for this examination out of which only 4,22,859 candidates downloaded the admit card. More than one lakh officials had ensured the successful and fair conduct of examination,'' the CBSE said.
