The country’s first air conditioned double Decker rake rolled from Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala today.The ten coaches will be used for running between Howrah and Dhanbad in the Eastern Railway in the next fortnight.General Manager of the factory Pardeep Kumar claimed that the futuristic high speed stainless steel coaches are comparable with the best international trains. He said double Decker coaches have been introduced to cope with the heavy rush of commuters in the high density corridors offering AC travel at a lower cost.
