Reserve Bank of India has cautioned the people about a fake website which is reportedly asking for personal and confidential banking details of bank customers in its name. <br/><br/>In a statement, the RBI said the fake website, www.indiareserveban.org, which has similar layout as the RBI website contains a provision called Bank verification with online account holders which appears to have been created with a fraudulent intent. <br/><br/>It clarified that as India's central bank, the RBI does not hold any accounts for individuals and never asks for personal information like bank account details and passwords. <br/><br/>The members of public have also been cautioned about existence of websites like www.rbi.org and www.rbi.in. <br/><br/>
