The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66 rupees 85 paise against the US dollar and 72 rupees 90 paise for the Euro. According to RBI, the exchange rates for the pound against the rupee were 81 rupees 29 paise based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
