The Governor of Reserve Bank of India Dr. D. Subbarao inaugurated an exhibition named Newsibition in Bhopal today. This exhibition traces the journey of the Reserve Bank down 75 years through photographs, documents and visuals. The exhibition is divided into nine sections representing different phases in Reserve Bank's evolution. The exhibition is a part of the Bank's outreach and financial literacy efforts which commenced with the setting up of the Reserve Bank's Monetary Museum in Mumbai. Dr. Subbarao is in Bhopal in connection with the Central Board Meeting of the bank. He will interact with the media tomorrow.
