The Reserve Bank of India has assured the public of availability of enough currencies in small denominations and has urged people not to panic. <br/><br/>In a statement, assuring that cash is available when they need it, the RBI has urged the public not to be anxious and advised against visiting banks repeatedly to draw or hoard cash.<br/><br/>The statement of RBI comes in the wake of panic among the citizens after banning of currency notes of the denomination of 500 and 1000 on 8th Nov following which all Banks are witnessing huge footfalls for exchanging the old currency notes with the new ones.
