Reserve Bank of India today urged the public to refrain from writing on currency notes as it would bring down its life.In a statement, the Bank said that It has been brought to their notice that certain slogans were written on Bank (currency) notes and were circulated among the public particularly in the coastal areas. Writing on such notes brings down the life, besides impinging the security aspects, it said.
