The BCCI today appointed former all-rounder Ravi Shastri as the head coach of the Virat Kohli-led Team India till the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.The decision of appointing the coach was taken by the three three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) comprising former captain Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman.Earlier, 55-year-old Shastri had served as the Team Director of the side for around couple of years.
