The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has said that ratification of the United Nation's convention against corruption is a re-affirmation of India's commitment to fight corruption.He said the ratification will also help India to undertake vigorously administrative and legal reforms to enable law enforcement agencies in the country to recover illicit assets stolen by corrupt practices. The Prime Minister was reacting to India's completion of the process ratification of the UN convention against the corruption. The completion of this ratification process was under active consideration since September 2010 . A Group of Ministers was overseeing the ratification process.
