At the ongoing International Film Festival of India, IFFI, at Panaji in Goa, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col?.? Rajyawardhan Singh Rathore? today inaugurated the India Panorama section where 26 feature and 21 non-feature films are being showcased. 'Gunga Pahalwan', a film based on life of a deaf athlete was screened as first film under non-feature category. <br/><br/>Col Rathore said, the world has recognised the soft power of cinema and events like this bring together people who think and live cinema. The Chairman and Jury members of Indian Panorama under feature and and non-feature film category were felicitated by Col Rathore and Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sunil Arora.<br/><br/>Prior to it, National Film Heritage Mission under National Film Archives of India was ?also ?kick-started by Col Rathore. A mission to restore old classics after their digitisation ?process ?has been taken up under National Film Heritage Mission (NFHM) with a corpus of 600 crore rupees.
